Parliamentary Delegations of APPF have arrived to attend the 27th Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF-27)

The 27th Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum to be hosted by the Parliament of Cambodia will be starting on 14-17 Jan 2019 on the Land of Angkor, Siem Reap province.

Up until this afternoon of 13th January, delegations who are the parliamentary leaders of APPF countries member, have arrived the Kingdom of Cambodia.

According to a report of the Secretariat of the 27th Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum, 21 nations will attend this 27th Annual Meeting (APPF).

In the preparation for hosting this major parliamentary forum in the region, the Parliament of Cambodia has a clear work schedule, divided working groups of 4 matters, including APPF Women Parliamentarians, Political and Security Matters, Economic and Trade Matters, and Regional Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific Region. Working groups of 4 matters have finished working on the research topics for documentation and organization of the contents in the draft resolutions of each matters. The official opening ceremony of the 27th APPF will be held on the morning of January 15, 2019 from 9:00 am, with keynote speeches of many national and international top leaders.

The Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum was established in Tokyo, Japan, in 1993. The Parliament of the Kingdom of Cambodia became a full member of the Parliamentary Forum in 1995. Currently, APPF has 27 countries member. The forum regularly holds annual meetings by each member countries to be the host.
